Possibly saved my timing housing and maybe some gears. It was on its way out. Only thing I can complain about is I seen a guy order on3 and it already had thread locker on the hex head bolt

Easy to install! The design is simple and easy to understand and provides a lot more peace of mind for these engines. It fit nicely and appears it will function well for the lifetime of the engine with minimal chances of failure. Given the costs it can save if you don’t install it this makes it a great value for the price point. My pin was still fully in place at 145k miles, however I still installed this anyway as a preventive since it was for a 36’ diesel pusher motorhome we just purchased and were about to take on a 5200 mile round trip road trip across the US in a few short weeks. Made the whole trip with no issues and had peace of mind knowing the dowel pin would be much more secure now just in case.
