Good quality edge banding for about half of what I paid at a big box store for something similar.

This birch edge banding is fantastic for finishing my woodworking projects. The pre-glued backing makes it easy to apply with an iron. The real wood veneer gives that professional look to my edges. The width is perfect for most applications, and the 250ft roll provides plenty of material. It's flexible and easy to work with, even on curved surfaces.

I used this edge banding on some small furniture pieces, so the splices were not a big deal. That said, if I were building a longer piece, I would find the splices annoying. The glue is good, no issues there. The width is about 1/32" wider than 3/4" birch plywood, so I was able to tape one end down, heat the other end to adhere, and then untape and finish the job. There is so little excess that I didn't bother trimming. I just went over it with sandpaper to knock it down flush. You get a lot of material for only thirty-four bucks, so if you do a lot of edge banding, it is much cheaper than the small packages at the big box store.

This oak edge banding is easy to work with and flexible, making it great for covering raw wood edges. The pre-glued backing adheres well when heated, creating a smooth and strong bond. The real wood veneer gives a nice natural finish, blending seamlessly with oak surfaces. A great option for furniture repairs or DIY projects! I also used some to make a trim on the floor, worked great!

This banding costs about half as much as the roll I got from Rockler a while back. It terms of appearance, I think this stuff looks just as good as the name brand stuff. I've only used a few feet so far, but I have bunch of shelves to band, so if I come across any flaws, I'll come back to this review. (If a week goes by, and there are no edits - that means I stand by the above statement.)I think the melting point of the adhesive on this banding is lower than what I have used in the past. I liked that. I think that made it a little easier to apply

This edge banding is pretty good, especially given the price, but isn't perfect. The surface is smooth but there's some noticeable waviness to it with the grain. If you care about a smooth finish, this will take some sanding, but if not, this is a solid option. The adhesive is fairly good as long as you've cleaned your edge, but there's not much overhang to leave room for trimming afterwards so you have to be very careful to get it placed correctly the first time. The banding takes finish fairly well, but looks a bit different than the plywood depending on what type you use, so I'd recommend a small test piece for both the banding and the plywood prior to finishing so you don't end up with blatantly different coloring between the two (I learned that the hard way).
