I am very impressed with this yarn winder. I made 5 cakes of very difficult yarn to work with in 6 minutes. I have had nothing but trouble with the yarn since I got it. The yarn makes beautiful crafts but if you make it into balls it still seems to get tangled but not with the cakes. Very happy with this cake winder.

I love this yarn ball winder! Now that I have actually used it! I love it! I've used it with thread, and yarn. It is fast to use, store (kept by my knitting corner), sturdy and cute. I use it on my TV tray as I watch TV. It is worth the price for sure. Thank you!

I was a Little skeptical since this product was half the price of other yarn winders. No need to worry! It works like a dream. The components feel sturdy and I am really pleased with this item! The stitch markers are a total bonus too.If you’re on the fence, Just buy it!

This yarn winder was easy to set up and easy to use. Just follow the instructions. This is great to keep handy when you need to make a few yarns cake for your crochet, knitting, or rug tufting projects. Works well so far.

Have tried so many other manual wool winders, every one has failed me. BUT…this one is simply excellent the reason why is that the metal rod that holds the yarn is held firmly in place - literally with all other types I’ve used that is the part that is useless imho! This design stays in place and in seconds I easily wound two 100gram balls of chunky yarn. The spindle is a decent diameter so that holds the cake nicely. This sensibly designed winder will make my yarn crafting a joy. Also the gearing is nice too makes turning the handle an effortlessly task. Right I’m off now to wind all my oddments and balls of yarn into tidy useable cakes. Oh it’s so easy to set up too in fact the instructions weren’t even needed! Forget the rest and just buy this one :)

Useful when knitting with large balls of wool. I can wind some wool and take it with me in a bag to knit when out

How did I get through life without it! Work's brilliantly and winds yarn (up to 100g ball) easily. Great to store yarn like this. Easy to use and set up and, I think, a reasonable price.
