Ordered this for an art class. Used it a few times and it’s worked exactly as described! It’s a small bottle but a little goes a long way. I used heavier Bristol paper and did not experience any bleeding. It’s definitely worth the inexpensive price for the quality you receive.

Nothing to say about the quality, excellent stuff for inking or drawing with a dip pen. This is not waterproof, but it might be alcohol marker proof. It smells like it has shellac, similar to Winsor newton non-waterproof ink, which is 100% fast dry and copic marker proof——Also, just want to share some interesting findings.I originally thought the bottle is too empty to have 2 oz liquid in there, and actually brought out measuring tapes and did some calculation.Turned out to be exactly 1.99 oz in there’ 😅 good to know’

I wanted ink that was very dark and smooth, and this really really fit the bill. I used it on hot-press watercolor paper and it was perfect. It's pretty much the blackest black you can get, in my opinion. I experimented with adding a bit of water, and that seems to work very well also if you want to soften the black down a bit. Great stuff. Will definitely be buying this ink again when I run out.

I was guided to purchase this ink from a friend when I expressed my interest in learning how to do calligraphy. Since I do not have experience with any other ink than this one, I cannot say if it is better or worse than another. All I can say is that the ink is wonderful. I have made a few mistakes, touched the ink not knowing it, and ended up with black every where. It wipes off with soap and water! Easy clean up. It leaves that wonderful 3D feeling behind on the paper, and at 2 oz, it doesn't even look like I have put a dent in it after many hours of use. I will continue to purchase this ink as long as Amazon offers it.

This is a nice black ink. I've only just started using a dip pen and ink for drawings before applying watercolor but even after letting dry for eighteen (18!) hours I still get smears even when applying tiny amounts of water to smooth and blend watercolor pencil. I wouldn't even try any sort of heavy water application. I can still use this for pieces I don't intend to use water on, but the search continues for a truly waterproof ink. If that's not something you care about, it seems to flow well and looks good.
