The fuse protects the low voltage transformer in the case of a short circuit or overload in the low voltage components, thermostat, or wiring. These fuses are sold in a package of 5 fuses. This fuse replaces type ATC-5.

Tried to buy locally but struck out after visiting 3 different stores. 5 amps difficult to find around my area. I used one on my electric bike which seems to blow a fuse whenever I recharge it.

I really got a charge out of using these. I was blown away at how easy they were to install. I refuse to use any other product. They certainly have the power to bring your circuits full circle. They are currently working in my heater. They have ample ratings to keep it running.

My house furnace went out and I had a hard time finding the 5 amp fuses. I decided to buy these and hope they worked out. Once they arrived I put a new fuse in and haven't had any issues since. My heater has been running strong for a couple of months so I would definitely purchase these again in the future.

Not sure what all you can say about fuses; but the one I put in our ac has been running fine for about 2 weeks now.
