I used it today to fix an ice maker at an AM/PM and it works well. I recommend it because on that same unit I got refrigeration burn without it. Also, this tool keeps the refrigeration charge from excessive loss when connecting or disconnecting.

I have tried all the different brands and these are the best by far. If you are working with higher pressure refrigerants or walk-in freezers that don’t have a lot of refrigerant these are a must.They keep your hands safe from any refrigerant that is released and at the same time they reduced the refrigerant loss from systems that have really small charges and you cannot afford to lose any refrigerant from them.I use these with the Fieldpiece wireless probes on small compressors while checking charge. Some systems only have 16oz or less so these are a requirement!

These work absolutely amazing with older testo smart probe or whatever you might have in mind. These are an amazing way to not get refrigerant burns and not spray refrigerant when connecting.
