I have been riding motorcycles and motor scooters since i was 15 and am now 79, so, i have owned many helmets. This is one of my favorites. The description of this helmet is perfect except they do run small. I measured my head and ordered the recommended size medium. I could barely squeeze my head in. I returned it and got my refund the same day. I immediately ordered a large which fits perfectly. Before I ordered this helmet I visited a helmet store. I found the same helmet (different name) for $50 more. So, great price, stylish, great fit. I disagree with some of the other reviews. Sun glasses slide easily into the helmet, which I prefer to the darker sun shade inside the helmet, but this is strictly a personal preference. And the included shades do not hit my large nose. The clear face shield raises and lowers easily and stays where I put it. The ear spaces are perfect even for my big ears. I have learned that air vents on most helmets are a waste. I like the quick release chin strap which is my first. It comes with a cloth bag which I will put over the helmet while it is in the garage. It also comes with 4 reflective strips which I probably won’t use, and a cleaning cloth like those for glasses. I don’t normally write reviews, but this product deserves 5 stars. I highly recommend this helmet.

Wonderful helmet, light weight and comfortable. Sizing is perfect live the style and construction off helmet.

I commute on a 150cc scooter and most times go up to 50mph on surface streets. Things I like about the helmet: secure fit, light weight without feeling flimsy, and overall style. The two things that I really dislike: the overall cheapness of the liner and the odd drafts that enter under the face shield at speed. The lining has a soccer ball pattern that creates pressure points and leaves marks on my forehead. I also had to cut out a hook and loop fastener that is dead center on the portion that is over your forehead. Once I cut that piece out, it was much more comfortable but still not as good as a uniformly smooth liner. As for the draft, it is not a problem in hot weather as it keeps you from sweating. When the temp drops, however, it can allow too much cold air to hit the side of your face. There is also a loud whistling at the sides of the face shield due to the design. My favorite open face helmet is the Nolan N42E. That helmet has a very large face shield that does a good job at eliminating drafts on the face. The Yema helmet is $100 cheaper so based on that, it is definitely worth the money. The inner sun shield is too close to my face to easily fit over glasses but partially down, it does a good job of blocking sun off my forehead.

Great helmet. I bought for my e-bike winter commute as New England is freezing. My regular bike helmet didn’t keep my head warm at all. This helmet is insulated and has a face shield. When the sun was to glaring I can hit a switch on helmet and a shaded visor pops down. I plan to upgrade my e-bike to one that looks more like a motorcycle and not a mountain bike. This was a game changer in the wind and rain. Also has air vents to prevent fogging. I guess the only downside of the helmet to me was the gap of space under the chin area and that’s only because I bought a three-quarter helmet instead of a full helmet, but easily fixed by wearing a neck towel that can come up over the chin. trust me I’ve been in 18° weather with the wind coming at me at 24 miles an hour and I wouldn’t have been able to survive the bike ride without that helmet. The price was awesome too, I figured a motorcycle helmet would be way more than $100. This thing was only about $67. It comes with reflective decals that you can put on the front of the helmet. I may attach a rare, blinking light and you can also buy front LED lights that you could put on the front of the helmet for extra light. My bike is lit up at night for protection, and every way, but I don’t feel goofy put an extra lights on anywhere because I was literally hit on my bike during the daytime on a bright sunny day in the summer so I’m not taking any chances . The Hilton looks slick, futuristic, and really cool. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments that were genuine. Comes with a caring sack which I highly recommend because you don’t want your helmet looking beat up. If it’s knocking around I would recommend us to everyone. I can’t wait to get my new bike and cruise around with that helmet on. Buy this helmet you won’t be disappointed. I give it an extra star.

Update: I've had this helmet more than 3 years. It's still my favorite of any helmet I've owned. Very durable, too. It's time to replace mine, because one of the vent pieces is getting loose and the noise is distracting when I'm riding, but for the price, I'm very satisfied with how long it lasted.Previous review: I bought this helmet because I have been using half helmets with my Harley, but wasn’t satisfied with the way the BOOM headset/mics attached. I don’t wear a full face except when it’s very cold, which is rare here in the desert of Arizona.I had to cut away a small piece of the plastic facia n one side to properly fit the BOOM mount, but it was not anything structural, only cosmetic to the helmet. The helmet’s features are great. The XXL fits my large head very comfortably. It’s light. The clear full visor can be left in the UP position for an entire ride, the wind doesn’t grab it at all, in my experience. The tinted short, hidden visor is a great feature that I use often. It is extremely easy to deploy or hide away, after a few times to get used to the location of the lever. The built in vents help keep my head cool even on hot days. The helmet looks great, as well. The quality appears top notch, and I am extremely happy with the value for the low price.
