My laptop picked the adapter up right away and it works perfectly with Rocksmith 2014 remastered. I'm just using it for bass right now, so to get around the slight amount of latency (it's just enough to hear), I run my bass and laptop headphone output to a stereo keyboard speaker (it has a stereo pass through output) then pass only the bass on the right channel to the usb adapter so the laptop uses that to feed into Rocksmith. I have the bass audio turned down in the game to keep it from sounding weird being doubled. It works perfectly and now my hand is too sore to practice anymore today.If I run into issues I'll update the review, but I'm very happy on day one.

The price is right, quality decent. Overall, pretty happy with this little thing. Use it few times and week keeps doing its job. plug in and works, Windows treats it like a mic. simple and effective for a low price.

I wanted to use my high-end PC with HDMI to TV, but there was a slight delay, making it impossible to play Rocksmith 2014. I moved to another PC with HDMI to a monitor, and it works fine there. So, the cable is fine, but for some reason, the set up causes a delay when hooked to a TV instead of a monitor.

I've been developing my own Real Tone Cable for quite some time and have learned a ton about these things along the way. I bought this so I could take it apart and examine it internally for some information. I decided to test it out on RockSmith before taking it apart. And when I did I was pleasantly surprised to find out, this thing is insane. This cable performs much better than the original Real Tone Cable. The original Real Tone Cable has a built in ground loop due to bad engineering. This cable does not. This cable sounds fantastic. The build quality is fine, but the durability has yet to be determined because I haven't used it enough. The audio delay/latency seems to be almost non-existent. This cable was insanely impressive. It blows the OG Rocksmith cable out of the water in all honesty

I bought this for Rocksmith because reviews say it works. It works for Rocksmith 2014 just fine.

I use this product to play Rocksmith on the PC and it's a great product way better than the Ubisoft Rocksmith cables studio sound and no feedback from this cord absolutely love this product!

Yes it does work but there is a half second delay between the guitar and the sound on the TV or Sound System so would not recommend buying this for rocksmith

i bought this for rocksmith after my real tone cable broke. plugged it in and it came up as realtone cable but im not sure if thats because i had a realtone before and it simply is using the realtone drivers. if u havent had a realtone cable u can still use it download rsmods installgo to set and forget tabsmisc then enable direct coneect modesave and exit rs mods and open rosksmithhit ctrl set to direct connect mode and choose the cable from the avaible input listthis will work have tried both way enjoy i hope this helps my fellow players out

Lo compre pensando probarlo en el juego Rocksmith 2014 remastered ya que tiene una opción de usar cable genérico pero oh sorpresa, el cable al conectarlo a mi laptop (Windows11) no necesito ningún driver, lo reconoció como el cable original (Real Tone Cable que ya tenÃa). El cable esta hecho de 2 partes, el jack de 1/4 en la guitarra a jack 3.5 macho y la otra parte jack 3.5 hembra a usb.El cable se nota de menor calidad comparado al original pero por el precio se entiende aunque tampoco es malo. En el juego el sonido lo escucho igual al original, no noté diferencia, tampoco tuve problemas en detección de notas durante las canciones ni durante la afinación.

Fue una gran compra, el repartidor medio dormido no daba con mi ubicación pero todo bien, es de gran apoyo ese accesorio.
