  • Sturdy Hand-held Tool: This set of feeler gauge is made of high quality 65 manganese steel, so it is of high hardenability and hardness, also equipped with strong toughness and corrosion resistance. Feeler gauges provides the user with a visual clue of how wide a gap is, it’s a great addition to your tool box.
  • Dual Marked Metric and Imperial Scale: Feeler gauge size measuring of 0.0015 inch to 0.035 inch (0.04mm-0.88mm). Offset feeler gauge size measuring of 0.005 inch to 0.020 inch (0.127mm-0.508mm) with an increment of 0.001”. The laser-etching gauge values on the blades are neat and clear.
  • Removable And Adjustable Blades: Knurled knob on pivot shaft allows you to release clamping pressure so the blade move easily, take the individual ones out that you want. Tighten to provide stable handle using the body and the rest of the blades. Complete control of the friction for any blade angle direction.
  • Make It Your Custom Set: Initially one blade of standard thickness is kept, if there is extra gap even after a blade is inserted then the blades of the feeler gauge can be used in various combinations as per the requirement, that is different blades having different thickness can be stacked together to obtain a gauge for a size not included in the set.
  • Wide Range of Application: Feeler gauges are commonly used across a wide range of industries such as aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, and general industrial machining. Also good for measuring the string action (height) on guitar and bass necks and making adjustments. A nice unit for guitar work.

Product Description

1

YESWELDER gauge set includes one feeler gauge and one offset feeler gauge. They have accurate clearance description between two parts where a caliper or tape measure would not be able to fit. The body is the base that holds the blades together. Our feeler gauges are made entirely of manganese steel so that they are corrosion free and the blades do not rust easily.

What We Have:

  • 32-blade feeler gauge & 16-blade offset feeler gauge
  • made of high quality flexible 65 manganese steel
  • thumbscrew allows to pull out the gauges to independent use

3

Accurate Offset Feeler Gauge

The bent blade gauge set can provide for easier use in space-constrained applications and for use in areas with restricted movement and access to the gap being measured.

4

Clearly Marked Numbers

Metric and imperial numbers are laser printed, so the data is more intuitive. Please do not scratch the blade hard, so as not to affect the accuracy of the measurement.

5

Anti-rust Oil on Blades

It has a generous amount of preservative oil, which you can wipe down to a more appropriate amount. Oil or grease on it can maintain accuracy as these will rust and mess up the measurements.

Wide application:

  • To set the valve clearance between the rocker arms and the valve stem and to adjust the spark plug gap in automotive applications.
  • To check wall slot size in reactor vessels in oil refinery applications.
  • To set uniform gaps on extruder dies and rollers across the full length of the die set for manufacturers of tapes and films.

Note:

  1. Do not use too much force or force to insert into the gap when measuring, so as to avoid irreversible bending or even breaking of the feeler gauge.
  2. The bend, rust, or dust and oil on the feeler gauge will affect the accuracy of the measurement.
  3. Use the feeler according to the clearance. The fewer pieces, the better.
  4. Avoid work piece with high temperature.

All I was wanting to do is adjust the valves on my lawnmower. You would not believe how difficult it was to find. I visited several retail, hardware and tool stores and none of them had feeler gauges, in fact, I guess it's because no one has to set points or tune up a car any longer; most places didn't even know what I was asking for. I was able to find these on the site, and they work perfectly. They appear to be good quality and are just what I needed to do the job I was doing.

Purchased to measure and adjust clearance in my motorcycle. I checked the sizes with my micrometer to insure accurate sizes and all were perfect. Good selection of sizes at a good price. Very pleased.

I use these feeler gauges to do the engine valve adjustment on my 2001 Honda CR-V. Different sizes worked perfect. In hindsight, I am glad I bought the angled version as opposed to the straight versions that were less money. When first opening the package, the gauges are slathered with a lot of oil. No bid deal. I just wiped them down before use.Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

We used these to check the valves on the new heads that we put in my 3rd gen 4runner & it did the job! We were able to adjust all the valves properly & start up the engine with no ticking sounds. It comes in a little blue plastic packaging & make sure to keep it inside & keep it oily in order to prevent corrosion & make them last longer
