I am a pre-k physical therapist that travels from school to school in NYC, working strictly with 3-5 year olds in Pre-K. This tricycle bus well made and super easy to use. It works well for the 3-5 year range. My older and bigger kids are maxing it out but the seat/pedal alignment enables them to still use it. If your child is above 50th percentile in hight and 5, get a larger one as you will only get a season or less out of it. The handle on the seat is really useful. The seat is both supportive and also accommodating for kids to explore different postures. There are 3 things that would make this fantastic bike, an insanely great deal; 1) there is a little slop in the handlebar connection. I wish this had a tighter tolerance. 2) I wish the seat had a button to allow it to either raise/lower or slide forward/back. There is a button that folds it in half which is marginally useful. The extra cost and materials would add more in an adjustable seat. 3) the crank is really short. I believe this is to limit the load on the plastic crank connector and at this weight and price, the short crank will probably allow it to not break quickly.This is a fantastic tricycle that folds to a nice compact size and is easy to carry around. It is not a replacement for the heavy duty tricycles that weigh a ton, that you see at Pre-K centers. Those cost between $200-$250 a piece and they are super heavy. Those are great in their own right, are much more robust (I stand on the back of those all the time while I'm helping the kids learn how to ride). You have to treat this item that I'm reviewing like it's light weight because it is. That being said, I've dropped it by accident many times from a pretty high height and the kids have abused it plenty without a problem. Solid buy...

My granddaughter turns two next month and she should love this on her birthday. It rolls with the touch of a finger, looks great and should provide lots of fun. Very solid when put together. Handlebars locked right it,

My four-year-old son is 42 in tall, and weighs 44 lb. He loves his new tricycle! It is his very first bike, and he got right on it and started speeding away! It's very sturdy and very well made and I'm so so pleased with the purchase. 🙂

This tricycle was incredibly easy to put together. Shortly after my son got it for Christmas, he threw the pedals in the trash and no one noticed until after it was taken out. (He's nonverbal) I contacted the company asking if I could buy pedals separately, but they offered to send them out for free! My toddler got so excited when they came! He's been riding it ever since. I couldn't be more pleased. It's so easy to transition into different modes that even my 3 year old can do it. I'm so glad I got this for my son.

Extremely easy to install, extremely sturdy, and appears to be extremely durable. Now that I've gotten the requested words in my review which are absolutely true. Let me tell you, I was sooooo eager to write this review. Best tricycle ever. Not plastic like a toy. Real metal parts. This tricycle is for my granddaughter for her birthday. I realized that it's torture to buy kids gifts that they have to open and then wait until they are put together. The little ones have no clue when they tear open the paper and see a big box. Lol. We get it but they don't. So I've been counting down the days to her birthday in excitement to be able to put it together and put in a huge gift bag so that when she goes into the gift bag she will see her tricycle and be able to ride it right away. Hint-Hint for parents and grandparents 😆.Usually I have my husband to put these sort of things together. But out of excitement I got to it before him. He was taking too long even though her birthday is only 4 days away. Call me impatient 😆. But I'm glad I did because I wouldn't be able to write this review. I would have given 5 stars. But in the end you will see why not! Overall this is so amazing. First impression was that the quality of the metal is awesome. The different parts are beautiful. Just what came to mind. So perfect and professional looking. The quality of this item is amazing. Each part was so nicely packaged. I felt like I was opening something that cost several hundred dollars. But it was a little over $60. I am so grateful that there are some companies out there that will give you quality for less! On such a tight budget I will give my granddaughter a tricycle that I know is quality and that won't easily break down and won't be a hazard. Safety is so important. There are NO sharp parts. So easy to put together. I'm still amazed by that. Amazon has a video with this item that I used and you can pause it if it takes a minute to figure out. But wasn't necessary. Put together so fast omg. I just can't believe this tricycle. It's perfect and looks perfect. I would purchase this again in a heartbeat. Now my only pet peeve is that I purchased a basket, bell, and tassel set for it. The tassel has a spike at the end which is to be pushed into the hole at the end of the tricycles handle bar. The handle bar has a hole!!! so obviously that hole is there for a tassel. Someone please tell me why the hole only allows a tiny bit of the tip of the tassels spike to go in. I am baffled. There is a hole for nothing? And the rubber handle don't move. I was hoping to pull the rubber part of the handle off some so I can push the tassels spike in. But it won't budge. I don't get it. Anyway. Hope you enjoyed my review aka the book lol.
