I wanted to string a wire cable from my house to my shed, so I could hang a string of outdoor lights on the cable. I ordered these thimbles to make a strong "eye" at each end of the cable.Took me a while to find my wire rope (cable) crimping tool and some ferrules, which had been stored away ever since I retired from working on airplanes, but I found them and got to work.I slipped the ferrule onto the wire rope, wrapped the wire rope around the thimble, then slipped the wire rope into the ferrule. Pulled it snug, then crimped the ferrule with the swaging tool, and there it is! A perfect loop around the thimble to make it easy to attach to a screw-hook in the side of the house.Did the other end, and attached it to a large spring, and attached it to the shed.Works great, all I need to do now is hang the lights.Good thimbles, they do their job, can't ask for more.

I got these to use with stainless cable to fasten down an A frame canopy over my boat. Not much can be said about them, other than they are indeed stainless, and work as intended.

Whenever we install sunshade(s) we need lots of wire rope thimbles to secure/ protect the wire rope from wearing at point of contact with hooks. These thimble fit up to 1/8" diameter wire rope only_

Small eyelets. At least smaller than I am used to. It worked out perfectly for our string lights in the end. The ferrules crimp easily with the proper too at least. Nice assortment is a must to have when you are as far away from a store as we are when we are in the woods.

I was erecting a new antenna mast and needed to use some paracord rope for guying off the mast and holding it in place. These thimbles worked perfectly allowing me to create the loops I needed in the rope and then connect the ropes to my rigging gear and thread the assembly without risk of cutting the rope or having a rope catch on the metal fittings. The thimbles are thick and solid and performed well for the mast raising. They sit in place now holding several guy lines to keep my mast upright and held against the winds we get here.

Yinpecly 50 Pcs 1/8" Wire Rope Thimbles M3 Cable Thimbles 304 Stainless Steel Thimble Rigging for 1/8 Inch Diameter Wire Rope Cable Thimbles RiggingI ordered the rope thimbles on August 14th, arrived on August 17th, via USPS, left in our mailbox, intact and undamaged.Fit and finish is nice, no sharp edges or burrs, stainless steel material so no worries about rust, nice quantity at 50. I purchased this for a specific project, which is to securely hang a sun screen in front of large glass door that gets hit by the afternoon sun. I already have all the other hardware when I saw the wire rope thimbles for 1/8†cable.The thimble has a smooth surface on the inside which causes less friction and the stress point of the cable hooked into the other hardware, which of course results in less wear on the cable itself. So using a rope thimble is always a good idea whenever possible.The suggested MSRP is reasonable, I find no faults or issues, am satisfied with the quality of the thimbles. Am giving it a 5 Star rating.
