Hubby says: Awning was fairly straightforward to assemble, just remember that the instructions were written overseas. The mounting directions and supplied hardware are for brick walls but any hardware store has lag bolts for wall stud installation. Even with the 7-8" of side-to-side play of the 3 brackets to the support bar I was not able to align them with the studs. My solution was to bolt several 4' sections of treated 2x6's into the studs lengthwise across the wall, and then attaching the brackets to that. At 60 lbs it does take 2 people and 2 ladders to get it into position so plan accordingly. I think it came out pretty good. I would have liked a wider awning but it seems anything over 13' is commercial grade and much more $$$.

Care needed for installation of canvas into rails. Two of us needed to take back apart and reassemble. It is is a very well made and reasonable price ðŸ‘.

Product looked nice when we received it but horrible !!!! to set up on our home then we had to call someone professional who does install them to help us as the folding arms came from the factory!!!! on (backwards) !!!! And cost us a addition !$150.00 to get this adjusted so we could open it up all the way on our home . We would of sent it back but it was more trouble to take it all down box it back up so we just did the next best thing and had it installed by a professional person . Material is good and color but sure wouldn’t recommend buying these to install your self as there not easy at all when they come from the factory not put together right in the first place . Was not happy with it sorry 🥵

We built a new deck, and I wanted this added as complete sun protection in the summer sun. I just love it.

Okay so we love the shade but the only issue is the crank scrapes the tighting bolt when we crank it

When I ordered it the listing said 12'x10' but now it says 13' for some reason. 12'x10' is what showed up. Pretty easy to put together as long as you don't read too much lol the pictures are more helpful than the words. I did it myself but get a friend to help you get it up on your wall lol everything else is easy enough to do alone if you're a little handy. Seems like a lot of leverage at the mount so we'll see if it sags over time. But for now looks great!Definitely don't recommend this one if you get much wind. Also comes with the little wavy piece of fabric for the front. We just wanted to see what it looked like without it.

My husband assembled this and attached it to our house, I provided moral support and a small amount of physical support. It's perfect for what we wanted, I did misunderstand the description and thought lowering or raising one side would be done with a pole or something, but turns out you have to get a ladder and change that in the actual ends of the assembly. Once you know how your sun sets or rises then you'll have an idea of how to adjust. However, cranking it in and out is no problem at all , and you can stop shorter if you don't need the whole length out.Very happy so far, after a couple of months

Low quality, substandard product. This company has not even listed this product on their website. Clearly they seem to clearing their inventory through amazon.comInstallation was extremely difficult. The pictures claims that the angle of the shade can be adjusted but it stayed low for us.We are taking it down.Very disappointed with this product.
