I like the options the kit comes with. However, the needles seem kind of cheap and will eventually break after a brief amount of usage. Guess that's why they provide multiple needles.

This was my first needle felting purchase and am very pleased. Needles are good quality and last. Wood handles are very functional and fit well in my hand. The critical leather finger protectors are stiff at first and provide great protection.
