I never got to use it because I couldn't put it together. The screws didn't fit. I tried for an hour, my sister tried for an hour. No luck. Extremely irritating.

Should not need to be drilling into a new shovel and adding sheet metal screws to make it stable. Unacceptable. As others have said, handle needs to be one solid piece.

This large plastic snow shovel is pretty nice. It isn't super heavy duty, but I think it will get the job done with our snowfall in the Midwest. It has a pad on the long part of the handle too for added comfort. I took off one star though because it was actually annoying to try to put together. You just have to line up the holes on the handle and grip piece as well as on blade. But the screws are too big to fit in the holes. After 20 minutes of me trying to get it together, my boyfriend just used the power drill, and it worked fine.
