The mat bag was actually bigger than I had thought ( I have a thin yoga mat) but that was ok because it allows me to purchase a bigger, thicker mat that I can also carry and use on different surfaces. I also really like the pockets on the side so I can carry a hydration bottle and put my cellphone in.

Much bigger than I thought it would be…my yoga mat drowns in this thing! Material is a nice natural hemp which I really like! This carrier is best if you want to pack more than just your mat (ie. Towel, jacket, etc.). It’s got a small pocket, just large enough for an iPhone & keys. Plus a pocket to hold your water. Wish it was smaller, but going to keep it I think.
