It snapped with less than a quarter turn right out of the box with virtually no pressure on it.

The bar snapped in two the second any load was put on it. The breaks are at the thinnest points right were the "screw" goes through. It's a poor design and made with poor materials. The bar diameter should be bigger or the screw should be smaller.
