Did not rate for "sheerness" or "thickness" as I wasn't sure how to apply those to a router bit.High quality bit at a reasonable price. Worked very well. I ran 1000 lin ft of cedar 2x6 thru it so far to make staves for a barrel sauna. Clean cut, no issues. Felt as sharp for the last board as the first. Seller was first rate about shipping a second bit via alternate carrier when Fed Ex failed all across the East coast.

Ya know how you are putting on stair treads... and you use that great 5/4 X 12" (1" X 11 1/2" actual) southern yellow pine material. You cut it off to fit, and would love to continue the beautiful rounded edge around the the exposed end... well this is the solution! I use a dewalt router on a Bousch bench top table. Set it up, and the end matches the front perfectly with beautiful corner. A great router bit at an unbelievable price.

It works great, nice clean cut.But the profile isn't quite right. it doesn't ever go completely flat and parallel with the top of the 3/4" workpiece (not a true 180*, so you cannot use to make dowels). But as far as for adding nosing to boards, this does the job, and a quick stroke of sandpaper will fix the slight corner from the bit's profile. No big deal.

You can find more expensive high quality bits out there, or you can choose these very good quality at a more affordable price.

I was putting in new hardwood floors and had to do several stairs. When I priced what it would cost to buy the ready made bull nose pieces I found it was going to run me around $1000. Crazy!Instead, I bought this bit and used it to create my own bullnose from the normal pieces of flooring. Worked great, and saved me a bunch of money.Note that this is a hefty bit. Make sure your router is up to the job. Most variable speed 1/2' routers should be, but you can definitely notice the extra mass as it takes longer to spin up and down with this bit mounted. You'll want to slow the motor speed down a bit since the diameter is so large. The cuts I got from white oak were fine. With the speed dialed in, I was getting nice piles of chips on the floor and virtually no burning. The bit seemed just as sharp after 20-something stairs as when I started. No complaints. I'd buy it again.

Worked pretty good but has a ton oof vibration. Next time I think I’ll bite the bullet on a more expensive bit.

Je l'ai utilisé pour faire des barreaux en érable de 1" de diamètre aucun problème en 4 à 5 passes. Le demi cercle est très précis.

I bought this to match in some 1/2 " radius, torus victorian skirting which worked perfectly, with a bit of hand chamfering etc. I used moisture resistant MDF...(make sure that you do this in very well controlled environment regarding dust extraction ....or outside, and wear a very good respirator, then shower immediately after processing, because most people don't realise it is the dust on their clothing, in their hair etc. that they breathe in after they take their respirator off that causes probs.)....anyway MRMDF is toxic... I avoid it mostly, but for skirtings esp complex patching in it makes life easy. The cutter did burn up a bit, even at slowest speed, and multiple passes...but that is just what happens with mdf, the profile also matched my staff beads, so I knocked-up a good 50 meters in redwood I had left over from flooring, I was able to run this through in a single pass, (very lazy). This cutter cost peanuts, worked perfectly and saved me a fortune.

Great router bit. Cutting a bullnose on a 7 foot piece of red oak ,no problem with this bit. It cut thru like a knife thru butter.
