I don’t know about the longevity because we just got it, but so far so good.

From the first use this bit left lots of tear out. Just a short time later it apparently developed a warp in which caused the bit to bite into the side of a cabinet and destroy the face frame. Will NEVER purchase this brand again. ALL Yonico bits I have ever used were dissatisfactory. I’d be better off with a dull chisel and a blindfold.

Although it was not specified in the product details, I took a risk and ordered this veining bit hoping for the best. I wanted a very fine v-groove. The depth was labeled at 1/16", very good. However, the width of the groove was not specified and I should have used the relative spacing in the image to see it would be wider than 1/16". Turns out it is a full 1/8" wide (see unfinished wood photo), for some uses that might be acceptable. As you can see in the second photo (has finish) this was my expectation. After all that, I would still stay the bit was acceptable, in spite of the dimensions. The roller bearing ran true. I don't know how long it will last but it did cut quite well in it's first use. the price was right for the level of usage I intend. (PS. I might look for an over-sized bearing to reduce the depth of cut resulting in a narrower v-groove.)

The bit seemed stable enough until about 2 hours into using it to route cabinet edge, it broke in the blade itself. As I know it did not cost much, I decided not to try to return. Mostly glad it did not mess up my cabinet door.
