I installed this in my 1999 ranger dashboard, everything worked pretty well, but after install one on the map light, it didn't work at first, I needed to rotate it in order for it to work (didn't had this issue with the instrument cluster), could be an issue on the old truck, the brightness is pretty good

Surprise how bright these led bulbs are. Will see how long they will last for though. As of right now it is doing its job!

T10 LED Lights. Disappointing performance! Looks less bright than Lumens stated!A few years ago I replaced some OEM halogen exterior tail lights with LEDs and have had excellent results. LEDs are clear, bright 6000K White light, low energy, low heat, & I've had no problems. I upgraded ALL the original yellow halogen interior and exterior lights with bright, white, high Lumens LEDs.*Wear gloves handling LED (& halogen) lights. It keeps lights clean & prolongs the life of lights.LED illumination chips come in different sizes and produce different results. The best way to compare LED products is by using their Lumens (brightness) measurement. Unfortunately, I found that many auto LEDs seem to overstate their level of Lumens & exaggerate the brightness. These LEDs were very disappointing. The stated Lumens did not produce the high level of brightness or illumination expected. The given Lumens seem inaccurate & overestimated. These compared poorly to other T10 LED brands.There are brighter LEDs available.

Super bright, very small. Works great on the trailer running lights, 3 were no good though.
