I need this immediately, so I will not be returning it. I will just fumble through and attempt to figure out how to install it. It is actually a useless pile of parts unless you have installed one before or have another one to look at. Sorry, but I am underwhelmed.

Worked out great on 77 f150 with a 400 and C6. Had to make a little L bracket out of some sheet steak to hold the cable up on the intake. It’s does have some sharp edges on the cable that’ll slice ya up if you’re not careful.

This item is completely wrong for a ford c6 transmission. The transmission arm slot for the switch mechanism it 90 degrees of on the slot, so the only fit hits the shift linkage and does not work. Flopped over it points to the back towards ground, facing wrong way to work. Must be cut and welded into an L shape instead so it faces in right direction. Then the cable support for it requires bolting to the transmission. Well, there are zero places to do that, so you would have to aluminum weld a tab on the transmission to it that. So ya, complete failure, will not work in any way. Waste of money and false advertising.
