The tubing is good grade, but has a strong smell. I’m not sure how to clean that up. Boil it? Soak in lemon juice?

Our vehicle stopped throwing heat and I determined it was a clogged heater core. I purchased this tubing to flush the heater core. The tubing was the cheapest option I could find. I flushed with water and CLR in reverse flow and it only took a minute of flushing. The tubing allowed me to see the flushing occurring. I then flushed with clean water and the clear tubing was great to see when I could stop. The tubing does come wrapped in tightly and it is on the harder side, so I needed to place it beside a heater to straighten/soften it. It worked great though for my intended use.

Description says kink proof, not so. The hose is coiled too tightly for shipping, so it kinks. It should not be coiled tightly for shipping. Once a vinyl hose kinks it is hard to remove the kink. Again, it says kink proof the hoses do kink if wound too tightly. The hose I received is kinked.

This says it's good grade, but it has a strong plastic odor. I bought it to use for gassing the headspace in wine barrels and tanks, and I would never allow something like this to be used with a food product. After 2 weeks, the smell still permeates my cellar just sitting on a table!It is also much softer material than my last PVC tubing, and kinks easily. Not good quality at all.
