I needed this to connect a backup camera onto my trailer. I was expecting there to be a video quality loss due to the length of the wire. There was none, it works great. Now when I pull my trailer I just unplug my Pelsee rear mirror cam and plug this in. Easy.Be sure to check your connections as there are a couple of different types.

This does not work. I have a hatchback & needed the extra length. Glad I tested this cable before routing it through the car. The original cable works perfectly, but I get nothing when it's plugged in through this extension.
