I love how this looks on and off. It comes with a nice stand and the wood is of good quality. The light shines through nicely and the cat inside the globe is nicely done you tell all the features on the cat.

The globe is beautiful, but the base is pretty yucky. The base would look much better if painted or stained. Makes a beautiful gift for any cat lover.

I normally don't collect shelf decorations, but I just had to have this one because the image looks exactly like my kitty. The laser engraving is very nicely done and shows fine details. And when the LED light is powered on it illuminates the entire sphere, creating a warm glowing effect. It's actually very soothing to look at. It definitely makes a great conversation piece.

The carved detail of the cat inside the glass ball is very clear and intricate. It is a 3d design, not flat, so you can set it in any direction. You can see it with the light on or off. The light up base is kind of a rough cut, unfinished wood, but it doesn't feel like a bad value considering the very reasonable price. I gave this to my daughter, and she is going to paint a cute design on the base. I love that this has a little button on the cord to turn it on and off instead of unplugging. It has a usb plug and doesn't come with a wall adapter, so you will have to provide one of those. This makes a very cute night light for my kitty cat loving little girl's room.

The base is pretty coarse and the LED module is a cheap glued-in mess that I have serious doubts about (though it does work - for now), but the crystal ball itself is very pretty, clear, round, and free of imperfections. And to be fair, the base/LED is fine enough once the ball is set upon it; it includes a simple push-button ON-OFF switch on the USB line as well.

Adorable! It is glass, not plastic judging by the weight of the ball. The cat, butterflies and mushrooms inside look 3d, not flat. The light doesn't change color.
