Much better seal than the other '5778' seals becasue it goes round the outside. Particularly useful if your diff housing is old and/or you want to put some RTV around it.My fit was 1988 F150 4WD 5.0L 4spd, but should fit any late 80's early 90's f150 with the dana44 IFS setup.

with the right persuasion it went right into my gm d44 axle on my 1977 chevy k10 and has sealed great.

The seal is made of good quality machined parts, I can't complain there. What I will say is I should have asked questions first as the Amazon garage said it fit front and rear of my 95 dodge ram 2500 diesel. Problem is the front axle is a Dana 60 and the rear axle is a Dana 80. Did not fit my vehicle. My mistake I'll research better on future purchases.

I have a 1999 Wrangler with a front dana 30 axle. I originally replaced my pinion seal with the Yukon YMS4434V which Amazon said would fit. It does fit but the seal leaked after 1 year. When I went to order a replacement Amazon had 2 Yukon seals that fit my jeep. I went to the Yukon site to confirm and the other one was for 2001+ TJ. This one is slightly taller than the other one and fit fine. I do not know if the height makes a difference but I went with the Yukon recommendation.

This seal fit perfectly on my 1970 International Scout 800A. I replaced both the from Dana 30 pinion seal and also the rear Dana 44 pinion seal. Once again, high quality part and perfect fit for my old truck.
