Came with a 14mm Allen socket fill plug not what is pictured. Very annoying because the plug is located directly behind the tie rod and there’s no room for a socket Allen. Also the threads are not cut well which makes getting the plug in difficult

The listing says that this will fit a 2010Ford Explorer. Does not clear the space between the differential and the rack and pinion.

WARNING: The fill plug on this can be screwed through the cover and fall into your differential case (yes, I did this). You have to just screw it on until it's in and gives some resistance, but it will never be able to be truly torqued. This really makes this a very poorly designed product, but knowing that caveat I suppose it will work okay. The picture depicts a square recessed fill plug, actually comes with a recessed 14mm hex socket. Other than the poor design on the fill plug, it matched up well to my Dana 30 on my 96 Jeep ZJ. We will have to see if the plug falls out during use.

The product itself is well made and appears good.Nonetheless, it did not fit my Jeep Jk(Sahara) 2009 front differential which is DANA 30.The cover is thick and heavy compared to OEM but miss the fill hole plug.Would have made a fill hole plug using galvanized HEX bushings, if fit my Jeep.Other than that its a good item.Unfortunately had to return it.

I loved the cover paid 50 dollars for it decided to get one for the front it's now 179 dollars what are these people thinking ???
