Tires are nylon, they are directional, great mid-gravel tread design, suitable for packed gravel/pavement. Tires come folded but mount fairly easily. There are no reflective areas on the tires to warn oncoming traffic. Noise level is moderate.

The tire are slightly smaller profile size than the 2.125 originals..but on the rim, inflated I can't tell, I like the fat round motorcycle tread look. They cushion the cracked streets and hang great turns. Make sure as you inflation to seat the bead even, I bounced them quit a bit to get them right...enjoy
