I was hesitant because I had the old school big box halogen ($40 bulbs) wasn't sure these would be as bright. WOW! they are better! It's been a few months and they are still working great. Oh when u get them up give them some time to kick on. The sensors take a bit to adjust. Just be patient. They will light up

These are super bright. Before I replaced the parking lot lights I wired them up in my lift to light up a party in a field. We put them high and probably lit up 3 acres. Kids were playing football at midnight.

Extremely bright! I planned on using this light for a barnyard, but there were a few aspects that prevented me from doing this. (1) There was no dimmer or solar cell included. (2) The mount only allows for rotation in one direction. (3) A very short connection cable. (4) Very heavy unit. After hooking it up to 120V AC power, I could not figure out why it wouldn't turn on, even in the dark. Later I realized because there was no solar cell, it could not detect if it was dark outside. And the way the wiring was made, there was no jumper to bypass the solar cell. So I had to open up the case and connect the red/black wires manually. After that, the light powered up. However, the included connection wire was relatively short, which will require a connection box after I drill a hole through the barn wall since the wire feeds through the mounting bracket. The package does include a metal backplate that the bolts screw into. This requires drilling three holes - two for each mounting bolt, and one for the wire. The other option is to use lag bolts (not included). I do love how much light this units provides and the heat dissipation is excellent. The housing is very sturdy, and though heavy, will be fine since I'm using very large lag bolts. There was no wire nuts or other wire connectors included to hook it up to 120V AC. The wiring schematic was extremely helpful getting everything working.

general contractor in CA.install (replaced old 300W halogen lights) 3 of 200W, shoebox type, 35' high.Dang, so bright. before it was do dark in hell.*** you need 3/8" of hex key to adjust angle, maybe factory kindly pack it together ******* pink & purple color wire is mostly not need common parking lot, it is dimmer wire, for what dimmer, cut it off before you install, color blind my guy connect to common (white) with pink (it looks white)***other than that, what do you expect more.I gave 6 month warranty, so far so bright and see their lips not nose hole not to kiss on.recommend !!!

I got the 200 watt version of this outdoor light to supplement the night time lights from our city. A couple of those street lamps had quit working so I wanted the extra security around our property. This light definitely gets the job done. The city did replace the street lamps so I moved it into our garage for better work area visibility. It seems even brighter in an enclosed area than outside. For the outdoors and some indoors applications this is a good pick.The shoebox light is quite big and has some good weight to it. It feels like a solid build with quality materials. It has the standard three prong replaceable type dome sensor to automatically turning it on at night. The wiring has the typical green, black, and white for general power. It was nice to see that it also has the purple and pink wires for greater control over dimming and total brightness of the light unit. A nice bonus feature to have.After I wired it up and tested it, the back of the light housing didn't get overly hot. The fins do well at dispersing the heat and it only ever felt warm to the touch. The 200 watt rating is for the most part accurate. It came up to just over 200 watts on my tester. The only mistake I made in getting this was looking at it when I first tested it. The light output is very bright and will give visual spots for a second if looked at too closely. It is a nice product with lots of good possible applications. Recommended. 5 Stars.

The YXL Led dusk to dawn parking lot light is a beast. It measures about 27†long from the bracket to the front of the light. The LED light housing is about 12†wide. I ordered the 300W version. The entire light is constructed with a die cast aluminum, but it has some weight to it. My guess is about 12 to 14 lbs.The top of the LED light housing has multiple different heighted fins molded into the aluminum that act as a heat sink and holes on the bottom outside edge for heat dissipation. The light is fully adjustable and can be powered up from 100 to 347 AC volts. For my application, I’ll be powering it up with the standard 120 volts. My plan is to install this at the highest peak of my garage.An extra nice feature with this light is the 180-degree rotatable mount bracket. I included a picture of this bracket.There are 5 wires already coming out of the light and through the bracket. I’m only using the 3 to power it up and do not require the other two pink and purple wires as these are only for dimming. It will be easy to hook up. Black to black, white to white, and green for ground.The instruction manual is all printed on one side of an 8 x 11 sheet of paper. It is clear, informative, and includes illustrations for installation on a pole or square tubing. I’m attaching this light to the outside of the garage. I have full access to the structure inside as my garage isn’t insulated. Included with the kit is the one-piece mounting bracket with the threaded holes for the two mounting screws.The die cast aluminum construction is fully weatherproof and should be able to withstand the cold winters and hot summer days we get here in northern Ontario. Interestingly, the manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty on this product so that is reassuring.The dusk to dawn sensor simply plugs into the top of the light. You plug it in and turn to the right to install this feature.This light is extremely bright. I also included a picture of this light powered up. I wanted to test it to ensure it performs before I go ahead and do all the work to install it on the garage. I’ll have to wait for spring now though and if I have any issues, I’ll update my review.I don’t have a single negative comment to make. From the construction of this light, the heavy-duty installation bracket, to the brightness and performance, it is a beast and excellent parking lot light. A+++

This 200w solar street light is a great choice for a backyard, driveway or small area. It is bright enough and does not require wiring, as the sun can provide enough energy. It has a wide range of illumination, and a large part of the surrounding area can be illuminated. I set it to 8 inches above the ground, which is enough to illuminate my entire backyard.I am also very satisfied with its quality. It is well made, with a thick and heavy metal shell that looks like it will last a long time. Another point is that It can automatically turn off at dawn and turn on after dark, which is really a good choice to save money. The entire installation does not require professional personnel because it is a solar street light.Overall, this is a very good solar street light, durable and sturdy. Very satisfied with its performance and effect, it can save a lot of electricity bills in the long run.

I ordered the YXL LED Parking Lot Light 300W to install on one of the forts we built for our kids.We have theee acres of property and our home is semi-rural with a walk-out basement. We built two 2-story forts for our kids, one on lower ground and then the one on higher ground across the yard so they could have battles.Living in Northern Canada the sun sets by 5:45pm and our kids like to play outside after supper which means playing in the dark. I ordered another street light lamp that is solar powered and installed it off our second story deck and it works so well I decided to try another one.Where the second fort is on high ground we have a graded slope that we build up with snow to make a tubing run that is 30ft but the slope is on the backside of the hill and the other solar lamp is blocked by the fort at the top so I wanted to install the second solar lamp off the back of the fort to illuminate the tubing slope.I mounted it off the second story of the fort approx 15 ft up. The fort already has 220V outlet installed inside the fort so running it to power was straight-forward. The street lamp lights up the slope like the sun and is exactly like the brightness of the commercial lighting when we go tubing at the local commercial ski hillsThe design and build of this street lamp is exceptional. It is an absolute beast and very well constructed with solid die cast aluminum and sealed to pass testing for an IP65 rating.We like that the color temperature is 5000k which is close to natural daylight. It is mounted on the South side of the fort and our yard is South facing so the dusk til dawn feature works great.The best part about this street lamp is that it is ETL listed and comes with a 5 year warranty.
