This hanger works perfectly for a large bird ornament that was just too big and heavy for an all metal hanger. It looks great. My only problem with this is that it looks unfinished. The metal part at the ends are just an empty pipe, i wish the ends were closed or had caps... the screws are silver and just make it look unfinished.but overall it looks nice and works how i wanted.

I'd been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this so I could hang a little birdhouse on it for a breakfast nook decoration. It is all I had hoped and more. Sturdy, lovely, well made and showcases my birdhouse perfectly. I may be getting a few more of these to put elsewhere around the house to hang all kinds of things from. It takes minimal assembly. Two little screws to anchor the metal to the wood block. The metal bar with the screw holes in it was slightly bent, but a few taps with a hammer got it back in shape. The small things in life make me happy and when things turn out the way I imagine -- pure delight! I don't know how heavy of a piece one could hang from this, but it is very strong. I might be concerned about tipping if the item was quite heavy.

Excited to get this and get it displayed with an ornament from a wedding. No screws to put it together. So now I have to go to the hardware store and find screws that work. The quality is there but missing parts makes it very disappointing

I bought this to display a glass ball. It was really easy to put together. The wood has two predrilled holes to make putting the included screws in easier.I’m not sure why, but Amazon made a signature required at delivery. Not a huge deal. Just weird. I had over two grand worth of PC components delivered not too long ago that didn’t need a signature, but a cheap stand did.

Came with the correctly sized screws, but they were soft, and probably wouldn't stand up to being unscrewed and used again so once it's together, it should stay that way. The foot where you attach it to the base came at a slightly... bent angle, so I gave it a whack with a rubber mallet to set it straight before I assembled. Overall, it'll do. Just one star off for the bent-ness.Definitely looks great though and is strong enough to hold more weight than your average terrarium or incense ball (what I bought it for)
