I have a metal exterior kitchen door so I have to have a magnetic curtain rod. I used this one to replace one I had that slipped down often due to weak magnets.

I bought it for my front door and I love it. I love to keep my door open but want the privacy. I live in an apartment and I have nosy neighbors that look into my apartment. So I prefer this to keep them from looking in.

The rod is fine. The clips on the rings are very difficult to open and make it difficult to hang a curtain or piece of fabric that has seams.
