Good fit. I wanted them a little bigger and the size was great. I ordered the size 12 for my slim 9yr old. I knew it would be a little loose as expected. The 10 would have fit perfectly. Great fabric

Not itchy/ berry color prettier than pictures. Only reason giving 4 stars is they are Not gymnastics shorts. More like a bike short. Bought them for a meet & they were too long.

These dance shorts are exactly what I was looking for. They are a good length that does not ride up to become revealing. My 8 year-old daughter has very long legs and they offer appropriate coverage. Also they are not see-through. They really fit wonderfully.

If you bought shorts from a big brand you know to expect the inseam to be shorter. These have a longer inseam like bike shorts. So if you want longer shorts, go with these. The material is thinner than expected, but it won't be an issue in the darker colors. Getting it in silver means you can seem the leotard underneath (which might not bother you any anyway). But I went with a different brand because of the shape. When I look for gymnastics shorts I am expecting a shorter inseam, these did not fit the bill.But I would buy them as shorts to go under a dress if I wanted my kid to have some extra fun with her outfit.
