These belts were exactly what I needed to replace old belts that had caused my Sony tape deck to malfunction. It would barely play, and it would not rewind or fast forward. The new belts were easy for me to install and they fixed all the problems. All I had to do was remove the component cover, detach the flat cables, slide out the old belts through a gap below the drive motor in each of the dual tape decks, then replace the belts in opposite order, reattach the cables, and install the cover.

This belt kit brought my TC-WE435 deck back to life. The installation process is tedious but these belts fit well and seem to be performing as they should. Hopefully this material won't self destruct the way the original belts did.

Happy to say these fit my Sony TC-WR681 perfectly!!! The belts seem of an average quality, but I'm hopeful they'll hold shape for at least a few years.

I ordered these belts to replace belts in my Sony dual cassette deck that had deteriorated from age. Installed the belts was a bit of a challenge, but thanks to YouTube, I had instructions. When done both cassette drives worked perfectly.

installed them but they were a bit loose. In one of the trials, the deck encountered an error when it tried to autostop. got another set somewhere else and saw the difference.
