Not going to lie when I received the box I was a bit disappointed. I thought to myself, this is it??? Because the size of the box looked like it had just enough room to fit the journal and some pens. However, upon opening the box we were pleasantly surprised. It included a bunch of goodies! We received everything listed in the kit: a stamp, pens, washi tape, stickers, glue stick, photo frame paper, art sheets etc. This is a lovely starter kit for young kids and a fun way for them to customize and get into journaling/scrapbooking.

I started junk journaling with my 7yo just to get her into the habit of journaling even though she’s not writing yet, and this journal set includes all the things she needs to keep her engaged and occupied during our journaling time. Perfect gift for a girl.

I haven't seen a multi-colored changing pen like I saw included with this journal set- and as you can see from the photos that I provided- there are all kinds of fun things included in this box- to help a young child start out journaling and scrapbooking! I wish there was a set like this when I was younger and I got it as a gift for my husband's work partner's daughter- whose birthday party we have been invited to. I am hoping she will find this set as fun as I would have- and maybe scrapbooking and journaling will be something that she will find fun- for a lifetime- because of a gift like this.
