I do a fair bit of traveling with a band on the weekends. Some of the drives are up to 5 hours away, and we get a generous amount for finding hotel rooms, Airbnb's, whatever. I've done the Airbnb's, which can be fine, but there's still a really weird being-in-someone-else's house feeling that lingers. I'm outgoing, but sometimes I want absolute peace. No matter how comfortable they make it, there is still a sense of trespassing or something. Plus, I can get in quite late even without the drive to find something reasonable. Hotels, I'm not a fan of, they are more costly and can be hit or miss with cleanliness. I did a ton of work travel with my old job and practical lived out of suitcases for sometimes 30 days in a row in hotels, I'm over it. Plus, getting into some of these options at the hour that I do can be problematic in different ways (dirty hotel room, missing towels, pictures of accommodations are incorrect, noises, etc.).So, one of bandmates told me about car camping. I love camping in general, so this seemed like an interesting idea and one that I could get into. I decided up upgrade some things (much thicker air/comfort foam air mattress, more pillows [I like a lot of pillows!]) and purchase more things to make my new adventure more comfortable (blackout curtains, windshield cover). I do drive a 2017 Toyota Prius, so I could put on climate control and run heat or AC all night long (which works super, super well!). I did A LOT of research into my new items, I didn't want to keep reinvesting. One and done. I actually though about creating my own blackout covers as there are a few tutorials online, but that meant I'd have to have a few large pieces of something to carry around and mess with. A set of folding pleated curtains just seemed way more manageable. I ordered these, not even sure if the part of my car door needed to attach the curtains were magnetic (it is, 100%).I reserved my first spot at a campground in a tent area (as I MUST take a shower before I sleep). I arrived at night, pitch black, and had zero issues with getting the curtains in place even though I didn't even take them out of the bag until then. The magnets are really strong, not like some weak fridge magnet. They covered a very large portion of the window. I'm a light sleeper, light affects me but these cover enough to do the job. They even snap together. I slept like a baby this first tryout so there was definitely some success. It kept the car nice and cool, and helped maintain a good temperature (parking in the shade helps). I can slowly slide the curtains along the magnetic part of the door, as, like I stated, the magnets are quite strong.I've since in all done 4 post-gig car camping trips. One of them I didn't know that I had to get to park prior to 10 PM and at almost 2:30 in the morning (3-hour drive home) found a truck stop where I could shower and crash. I was warned (and didn't listen) to not park in the darkest spot of the truck stop, and thankfully, these gave me completely privacy of all the super sketchy trash that was happening all around me. The pictures shown are done really quick at my last camping adventure. Total success there. I have complete faith in this product. It does what it boasts, covers a great deal of light for me, and is of a very outstanding build quality. I recommend this for my fellow car campers!! 10/10

These car window covers are great, With the strong magnets they go up quickly. Fold up fast true to size and with the black and thick material it offers great sun protection minimizing visibility. Works well, good value for the money.

These fit the rear windows of my 2020 Honda Ridgeline perfectly. They stay in place with a strip of magnets along all three sides of the window. I have been sleeping in my truck off and on, and they provide excellent privacy, with a little more style than the traditional silver mylar window covers. Feels a little more homey. I like that you can bunch them to the side and secure it with the string for driving mode, so you can still see out of your windows, without having to take the window covers all the way off.

My windows are oddly shaped and I can't find anything that fits them so these don't fit them all that well but that's not their fault. I love them they block out the Sun so great they're easy to use they're easy to push to the side. No sun comes through. I've shut them in the door so many times and they have not torn. Definitely worth it. And parents I have to wait outside your child's school with the sun blaring down on you, this is awesome. It's so fast and easy to put it up and get that sun off of you. You forget to take it down and you're driving easy to pull them down to come down so easy. I will be getting these again.

I bought these sun shades for privacy when car camping this summer (Fits my Rav4 front and back windows perfectly). I also planned on bringing them on a backpacking trip where I was going to rent a Jeep wrangler and camp in the back of a few nights. The very lightweight and packability of this product made it ideal for a light weight traveler like myself. The magnetic trim is what made this product super easy and dependable upon installation. Great quality fabric and accordion folds add a perfect weight to the curtain effect so they don't flap in the wind as easily if the windows are down (stationary car camping). I was VERY impressed with this product. Worth every penny.

I was exploring similar products and mistakenly assumed it also included 4 pieces, similar to other items I’ve seen. However, upon opening the parcel, I found only 2. Aside from this, the shades seem to be of very good quality: the fabric is reasonably sturdy (should block all sunlight, though I haven’t tested them outdoors yet), the production quality is solid, the size is quite generous (for my Forester), and, most importantly, they are incredibly easy to install and remove. The little magnets must be very cute but they work quite well. Everything is just great—except for the fact that they aren’t sold as a set of 4, like many other similar products. So, remember to order 2 if you need shade both front and rear windows.
