The handle on my old one broke after 25 years. Company changed names from Fagor, but exactly the same parts. I just found this and ordered immediately, and sitting it next to my old one, it is exactly the same! Superior to aluminum pressure cookers. This one has indestructible body. Handle broke after a bad fall. Used heavily. Keeping the old one for parts! commercial grade pressure cooker that compares is nearly $500.

the box arrived fine - but when the box was opened the handle of the pressure cooker was broken into several pieces making it unuseable. It appears to have been sent already broken.

This is the first zavor product purchased but upon receipt it appears to be just as durable and efficient at the fagor cooker it is replacing. The gasket is the same size so at least one component of the old pot willnot go to waste.
