Purchased for my mother, she says that they are easy to handle with her arthritis and more comfortable in her hands than most of the other ones she has used. Would recommend to anyone who does plastic canvas work.

I'm starting a foundation called the Red Mama Project to encourage people to make self-comfort beds for cats in shelters. I will be teaching children as well as adults how to make them and anticipate that some of my students will be quite young. These needles will be safe, easy for them to handle, with a large enough eye that even most preschooler will be able to thread them. They are not sharp, which is perfect for the old sweaters we will be using.I read a lot of reviews before selecting three different needles to try - one type for adults, one for older children and these, for young ones and the very elderly and arthritic. most of the time, if someone reviewed that they disliked a needle, it was because they didn't check the size first. I did check, and I'm really pleased with all three of my choices. These are the largest needles I could find - about twice the length of your average tapestry needle. If you are looking for large, and for large eyes, this is your needle.They seem smooth and well made and sturdy too. I hope to need to buy a lot more!

I'm repairing a braided rug and these needles are absolutely perfect. They're smooth and blunt and have eyelets big enough that I could probably thread them without my glasses.I'll also use them for loom knitting.

These are perfect for plastic canvas sewing. I teach this craft so I go through a lot needles. I always give them away with the projects.

My needles were loose in the bottom of the very big box along with two other items. Looks like the smaller bag that they were placed in came open. 11 of my needles are missing. The outer box was taped and stamped received open. I need to use them now or I would send back for a replacement. Other that the needles are great for what I need them for.

Could not use these as the eye was very wide. Likely good for different projects, but hard to get eye through material.
