I think 88 is a lucky number in Chinese culture, which makes sense considering the umbrella holder would usually find its way into the entryway of home. The product came in well packaged to the point that I dont see it getting damaged in shipping. Liked it enough that I purchased a second about a month after to hold some exercise equipment.

The item does not have an inside piece to hold the water once it’s drained… that makes it cheaply made.

I just wish they were a bit taller to make it sturdier when filled with umbrellas etc. We have to arrange them in a certain way so it doesn’t topple over.
