had it in service for a year now and no problems, warms up the engine to about 20C in about 3 hours with an ambient temperature of -10C. a decent product at a reasonable price

Did not fit as advertised. States it fits mercedes 300sd , but the part that goes in frost plug was wrong size! Now my car is down and I can not find one local.

Worked well. It fit after the old one was removed and heated the block 35 degrees in an hour. I put it in a Mercedes diesel.

This is Highly recommended! it is a direct and easy fit for both the experienced and amateur DIYer. I only required the cable since Mercedes had already fitted the element, and it was nice to find the whole unit for the price of just the cable. There is more than enough length to permit the plug to be accessible in even the most hidden or remote location. I do recommend getting a high quality zip ties to secure the cable to frame members. A+

This product failed after 3 days.Had to pay twice for installation totaling $300.Would not recommend it.Was forced to take a replacement because it's the only one available for my vehicle.
