Bought this for our RV6. The hardest part of install was taking the cowling off and on. Works great and a lot cheaper than other places.

The pad heaters work very well. They heat the entire engine compartment up after about 2 hours. I generally don't leave them on that long. The oil is warmed up and since I use synthetic oil, it isn't possible to overheat the lubricant. Over all I am very pleased with the purchase and I would highly recommend the product.

I use these for my engine oil and trans oil and they work great. We see -50 temps during the winter regularly and with these installed and plugged in I had no issues this winter.

Listen, I'm no expert on what wattage I would require to heat up a 6 qt oil pan. I just want the oil to flow freely to keep my bitter cold start ups from being so hard on the engine. I didn't care if I had to babysit the dang heat pad for 5 minutes or let it heat overnight. Nothing worked to keep the stupid pad from shorting out and becoming a sticky paperweight. I probably tried 5 different watt pads from 100w to 250w with the same dismal result. It sucks because now I have to scrape it off my cleaned and prepped surface, burn the wasted money, and explore other options, I guess. What a dumb amount of money to spend on an unreliable product. 0 stars

I put one on the oil pan of my diesel tractor. It works great. Tractor started this morning at -10F. Reasonably easy to apply. Make sure you have enough flat space for the pad size. It is helpful to have a sander or disc grinder to prepare the surface.

I have two of these on a genset, purchased back when the company was known as Wolverine. Depending on the season of the year, I might have one or both or none running 24/7. They’ve been on for a number of years. They do wear out. I had occasion to check the power draw with a watt meter and it’s well below spec, and the block is barely warm. They’re gonna be a lot harder to get off than they were to put on. I hope they don’t need the genset anytime soon.

Works as advertised. I’ve had good experiences with zerostart in the past.

Used for less than one year installed on bottom of oil pan. Pad was properly installed onto sanded down metal and edges sealed with RTV Temp safe sealant. Walked out to my truck one morning and smelt a smoking/burning smell. Ambient temp was -25F (Fairbanks, Alaska) Truck was plugged in on timer overnight alternating on and off. Once removing this pad i could poke a hole through it with my finger. Would suggest purchasing a more reputable brand like I have since replaced this one with.
