The rings are great for crocheting. My only complaint is that I didn’t get all of the rings designs that were pictured. (Which is why I picked this grouping of rings)

(1) I recommend ordering these with other stuff that is likely to ship in a box, because the only padding they had while shipping in an envelope with a book was the black velveteen bag they were packed into at the factory before that was sealed in plastic. The metal is stiff enough that I'm quite shocked none of them cracked from an impact while shipping. (2) They appear as pictured. (3) The more vertical style is "adjustable" because the back has an opening, the more horizontal style because the head and the tail are not attached. (4) Smaller than you might think: The vertical one, I think the head will work to hold the most-standard weight of yarn, although it might be a little tight. The horizontal style, the space between the beak and the neck is quite small ... maybe only useful for, like, sock-weight or thinner strands. (5) The way these are cast, the front is all rounded and aesthetic, and the inside edges are all pretty sharp ... I don't think I'd use a fragile yarn with these. (6) I'm leery of how stiff this metal seems to be for an "adjustable" ring (although glad that it seems reasonably stiff for the yarn-controlling function). (7) That all said, I kinda like these just for the aesthetic and will probably set one set aside for actual crafting and sort the rest into my everyday office-jewelry mix.

Teaching my granddaughter to crochet. I've never used a ring. But, now I wouldn't be without it

The big ones are cut in the back unlike the original ones, they feel cheap and don’t form to your fingers like good crochet rings. You’re supposed to mold them and fit it to your finger and these will probably break if you tried it

These are pretty but some feel flimsy. I couldn't ever make them work for myself but that's not a fault of the ring. They are adjustable.

I intended to use these rings to protect my fingers from the yarn while I knit and was looking forward to having a fun variety to choose from. I was so disappointed to not receive either the snake or the two hook style rings, instead receiving two foxes, and four peacocks, two of which were split at the back like a child's gumball machine prize. Not worth keeping.

I had bought this item for my mom because she was complaining about the yarn leaving Marques on her finger whenever she was crocheting. She said this item has changed her life. She uses it almost every day. And it’s not a bad price because of how many they give you
