Basic Operation
1. Examine the wire rope.
2. Fully charge the vehicle's battery.
3. Check the winch's electrical connections.
4. Put the vehicle's transmission.
5. Pull the rope, move clutch control to release position.
6. Hook onto the object using a pulling point.
7.Place a heavy rag or carpet over the wire rope span.
8.Move the clutch control to the engaged position.
- Leave at least five full turns of wire rope on the drum.
- Do not wrap the wire rope around the object and hook onto the wire rope itself.
- Do not use a recovery stap while winching.
NEW PLANETARY
Combined use of 3-stage planetary gear system, can achieve maximum speed ratio and small size, and winch can achieve coaxial speed change.
CAUTION: Do not adjust the clutch unless there is no load on the wire rope.
NEW MOTOR SYSTEM
12V DC 1.5HP permanent magnet, and winch motor has a line speed of 6.1 feet per minute with a full load, ensuring faster linear speed under load.
NOTE: Do not maintain power to the winch if the motor stalls.

I purchased this winch as a replacement for the one that broke on my pop-up tent trailer, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The installation was straightforward, and once set up, it performed exceptionally well. This winch has made the process of raising and lowering my tent much easier and more efficient than before. Was going to buy the badlands 5500 but went with this instead. Glad I did as it saved me $70 and it had a wireless remote.Needed a small winch that I could put on a base to move around on different trailers or surfaces and this worked perfect.Powerful, fast, long rope length and it's wireless remote worked very well.I used this to pull a military hummer with 10psi in the tires up on to tall trailer with little effort. It's not perfect but for $145 with tax it's outstanding.

This winch is basically the exact same winch as the Badlands ZXR 5000. Guaranteed they come out of the same Chinese factory. Specs and performance are the same. They're calling this a 4500 lb winch but inside the manual it says its rated for 5000lb. Seeing as the line speed specs are identical between both including gear ratio, pretty sure theyre the same and either this one is under rated 500lbs or the Badlands is over rated 500lbs for marketing. That's my guess. Either way, this is a far better deal at $100 less than the Badlands. The quality doesn't seem the best, nor the worst. Considering the low price, can't complain too much about the quality. The clutch knob is super cheap and flimsy feeling. Time will tell how long this winch lasts, but the price is pretty cheap so worth trying out. The wireless remote is a bit cheap feeling, but works awesome, no lag. The Badlands winch has pretty decent overall reviews, so I would expect this to be the same. Save a bunch and get this one,or any of the 4500 lb winches that look the same as these with the fin lines on the clutch housing. They're all the same with different branding.

The winch quit working I contacted them for warranty.They asked for a video I sent them multiple videos of me testing the winch bypassing the control box hooking right to the winch terminals and it would turn a couple inches and then start sparking.After sending them the videos and telling them the winch motor is no good they send me a message they're gonna send me the control box.I give up I would not buy from them because they seem not to understand nothing sent them multiple messages and got nowhere.

Used once in past two years to pull a can am hd7 out of mud and it worked flawlessly. Disengaged the drum with the freespool clutch to rewrap the line and then re-engage. Freespool clutch will not re-engage drum. Pulled apart and the clutch is broken with no parts available to replace. Unusable, motor is still strong and the light line was sufficient, but is unusable now.

I needed a lift motor on a jib boom I have on a cargo trailer I use for adaptive sports. Medical lift motors are extremely expensive in comparison. This wench motor is rated to lift much heavier weights than the medical lifts for several thousand more. By the time I get this all in place I with the battery and charger setup I will still be far less out in price. It’s fun the beat the system. I will have to update my review once it is all in place and in use.

Great piece of equipment, easy to install, step by step instruction and works really well. I installed it on a TYM T 25 tractor. I had to make my own wiring as the one provided was a bit short. I guess this kit is made for an ATV. Beside that ots all good

Winch remote does not work.Control unit was labelled incorrectly, causing installation wiring to be connected nearly causing a fire.Rather poor design.

I bought this winch to pull a 17 foot boat up a slight incline and into my garage. It works perfect, lots of pulling power, the wireless remote is exactly what I needed. Turns a two man job into a very easy one man job. I'm very happy with this product
