First encountered these tools in IT for removing CMOS batteries, cleaning components, etc. In HVAC now, these are great for hooking wire, marking metal, etc.. Pulled dozen+ 5/18 wires through not-the-cleanest masonry without the end of the hook tool loosening. Well made and a really handy pair of tools in general. This is by far the sharpest and highest quality metal scribes I own. I use these for working with 3D printing and removing supports. These go to tools are a necessity and I could not enjoy my hobby without them! 11/10. Will buy more in future.

I got the 8-pack, and 2 of the 4 straight picks were bent. I was able to straighten them out more or less, but I imagine it'd compromise the durability. The grips were sticky with excess glue, and a bit of rubbing alcohol cleaned most of it off. Otherwise, quality is acceptable.

Scribe two pack is inexpensive, but not "cheap". They work will for removing broken springs from hard to reach places, removing old seals, and marking metal surfaces for cutting or welding. Four different shaped tips for versatility and the tips do not unscrew out of the handle like some other scribes do, which is a big plus for me. Shipped with vinyl tubing over the points for safety and storage as the tips are quite sharp. These should work out nicely for you and offer years of service.

There are 2 not 8 as shown in add, know so companies like for you to view more than you get. I guess i should have read the bottom not. I give them a 3 for tricking me......tjey are fine by the way

I had one of these for about twenty years. The one like the red ones. You would be surprised how useful these are when working on cars! I use them for so many things. From pulling wires to peeling O-rings out and more.
