Product said it was new. Got it today and the product box had been taped shut at the bottom several times causing me to have to cut the plastic to get to the item. I opened the instructions and it said to put two AAA batteries in it because the toy does not come with them. Easy. I opened the battery compartment with a screw driver since there is a screw holding it shut and inside is one Long brand battery. I took the one battery out and put my own in, the toy started to make noise. I read the instructions again to see why it was only making noise and not moving over and over, looked up youtube videos to see if I was doing something wrong but the wheels DO NOT move. The toy only makes noise. So I reput everything back the way it was, including the one battery and asked for a replacement. Once the replacement arrives and if it works, I'll edit my review. I was skeptical once I'd seen the tape wrapped multiple times. I hope the replacement is new or works though.Edited review:Item was replaced. So far, so good. This item is really cute, I will say. It also works as it should. Going to adjust my star rating.
