My ball python loves this stuff! One brick was enough for a 50 gallon enclosure, and filled about 2 inches up from the bottom. It was very easy to use as well. I love how it holds moisture to keep the humidity up in the enclosure.

I love this stuff. It's easy to make and it's perfect for my ball python. He's always so happy when I put new substrate in because it's nice and soft and warm. There are no lumps in it. The best coconut fiber I've used so far. Seals in the moisture well.

The expansion on this product is amazing. Three bricks and I got a 50 gallon tank up to about 3 inches of depth from my gecko. I also mixed in a bag, one dry coat of Repti bark. It’s incredibly fluffy and soft after it’s all been saturated. I recommend putting it in a small tote type of container so that when it expands fully it’s not spilling out. Getting very good use out of it. I know that I won’t have to change it very often and when I do, it’s going to be cost-effective. My gecko is loving it as opposed to that bleak environment. They have to be in at the pet stores.

Put the brick in a container of water and let it soften, then mix it so that the husk absorbs the water. The coconut husk brick absorbs water quickly, making it a soft moist flooring for the tank and easy to mold. For some reason, my bearded dragon took some nibbles at it when I first put it in. It’s a pretty brown color too and I think it gives a good look to a lizard’s tank. The tank in my picture is a 40-gallon fish tank that I use for my bearded dragon. I used 2 bricks of the coconut husk.

Came just like described. It's a little hard to bust off the brick it comes shaped as but overall nice product and my pet enjoys it

I have gotten this several times for my pet reptiles and we will continue getting this brand. It works great comes in a nice package. Very easy to use just put in a bucket add water and it starts to break down into a nice fluffy coco mulch. Smells nice and seems sterile and made in a factory and packaged with care. Very easy to clean and change out once done I just used a cup or small handheld dust pan. I love the small Blue plastic hand broom with dustpan combo works great every time. After done in my tanks with my snakes or crested geckos, I had the old Coco mulch out into my plants in the yard for secondary use. Can be used for many different purposes!

You would be amazed by the quantity you’re getting after soaking the brick in water! I find the quality very good.

This is my first time buying coco coir and using it. I was using this coco coir for seed starting and one brick took me at least 2 litres of boiling water to expand properly. I would recommend trying to get a smaller chunk of the brick if you don't want to use a lot like others have said. No weird smells and a decent price for the amount you get. I'd buy it again.

I cut pieces of with my power saw for plant, cactus & flower pots, worm bedding, lizard bedding, TONS of uses.A small piece expands in water quickly and retains moisture well.Only one star off because it's much cheaper in volume but most of us aren't using it for high volume hydroponics/ gardening so it kind of bugs me that it's getting so expensive and less finely chopped.Otherwise, it's a good product.

There are a few uses for it. Most will use it to cover a lizard cage. I like it for my soil. It breaks up the soil and keeps the moisture. This product also takes care of a couple of environmental concerns. Peet bogs are being stripped and are releasing co2. The coconut husks are a by product of the coconut industry. This helps with both problems. I just wish it were a little less expensive. But it is a very good product. I know I will buy it again.

I was impressed with this easy to use substrate. I liked it's clean scent and affordable price. My geckos seemed to like this substrate just as much as any other brand. A very nice product at a very niceprice, from a very nice seller.
