One of the screws that came with my hammock was stripped. Didn’t want to send the hammock back. I took a chance that these would work. Luckily they work great.

I used these two replace hooks to hang a hammock off. I was hesitant to buy them off Amazon but they held my weight and my wife's together and didn't seem to bend or even move.

These were actually 3/8" + diameter, not 5/16" as indicated in the description. That being said I simply drilled the existing holes in the hammock stand larger in order to accommodate them. I am actual happier that they were larger diameter as they are much stronger. The quality is good, washers welded on is a great feature being bent to fit contour of the round hammock pole is a nice feature to keep hook from rotating once tightened in place. I would recommend for 3/8" hole application.

One of the hooks was missing! I have no idea how that one hook would have disappeared off the frame that I disassembled and stored in the shed...I put the large hand screw thingys back in their holes so they were right there when I pulled it out for the summer...so why that one hook was gone I'll never know. But I needed one hook as a replacement, even though I couldn't buy just one. This set worked just as I needed - the one hook was an exact replacement for the missing one and now my hammock is up in the yard and ready for lazy summer days!
