I recently had to replace a 15 y.o. old box spring, and after some research I decided to try this one. It's only just arrived, but so far, I can say this:1. It was relatively easy to get into the house, unpack, and set up. The folding arrangement is nice, and it worked well for maneuvering through smaller doors and hallways. Caveat: I was able to do it all by myself with some effort (and I'm not very strong), but I think it would be a smart move to have a second person on hand to help carry and unfold the thing, especially if you've got to negotiate a lot of stairs or tricky/narrow spaces.2. Once unfolded, I found it surprisingly light for something so solidly built -- certainly much lighter than the wood-and-steel-spring box it's replacing. It's proved very sturdy so far, which is one of the reasons why I chose it.3. There's not a huge amount of give in this box right now, which I like a lot -- I use it under a large, fairly firm futon rather than a traditional innerspring or foam mattress, and I prefer more support from the box. If you're looking for a springier box under your mattress, this may not be the one to choose.

I expected a single box spring since that is what the picture indicated, I acually got two box springs instead. No big deal, it was probably easier to handle this way.The box springs were folded in half and significantly thinner than they would be once they were in place. Set up was extremely easy. Once I cut the bubble wrap and tie wraps off I carried it over to the bed, and unfolded it. When you unfold it, the supports automatically pop up into place. After that you just zip the cover closed and that's it. Nothing else to it. When you want to remove it, just unzip the cover and pull up at the middle. It will collapse on its own and fold in half again for easy transport.The 5 star rating may be premature since I just set it up less than an hour ago, but it's fair for what has happened so far. They were extremely easy to set up and put into place, they appear to be solidly built. I fully expect them to last much longer than the wooden box springs they replaced. The sag in the bed and the creaking of the wood are gone. I was afraid they might be too thin since I bought the 7 inch box spring instead of the 9, but apparently my wooden box springs were the same size.One of the best features is the zippable cover. The bottom of the cover is made of a much thicker material than the usual flimsy stuff that is always coming loose and hanging down on all the other box springs I've owned. Fixing the hanging material was always a pain in the butt. It ripped very easily and was difficult to reattach to the wooden frame. With this box spring if the cover gets ripped or wears out (not very likely in my opinion), you can just buy a new cover and slide it onto the frame.I had intended to buy locally but all the mattress stores around either didn't offer delivery at all or were going to charge me around $70. I don't own a pickup so I was going to have to rent the Home Depot truck to get it to my house. I decided to wait a few more days and get it delivered straight to my house for free. This box spring was also about $20 cheaper than the locally offered box springs, not including the delivery costs I would have incurred.It doesn't make sense to me that these mattress stores don't offer delivery. Not everyone owns a pickup or is willing to inconvenience their friends or neighbors who have one. I guess at some point they will get tired of losing business and offer delivery.

After reading the reviews decided to give this a shot. What a great product and design. So easy to get it into place. No assembly required! Had it all set up in about 10 minutes and the height was perfect.

We bought this as we needed a box spring for our guest bedroom, it was reasonably priced, and it would be delivered free of charge, which is more than I can say for the mattress stores around here. I was a bit concerned about the folding feature and didn't think it would be very high quality, but wasn't worried as it was just for a guest room. Boy, was I wrong! First of all, it was so convenient to get upstairs, I was actually able to do it myself once I got it out of the box. Secondly, it's materials seem like really high quality, nice to the touch. We had a bit of a hard time getting it unfolded and locked into place, but that was because we first tried to do it with the box spring on its side, once we laid it down and pushed, everything just slid into place. I was so impressed with this I actually considered swapping it out for my own box spring in the master bedroom, but that's downstairs and would have been a lot of work! We're looking to upgrade to a king sized bed anyways, so if this comes in King, I would definitely consider it for my master bedroom.

You will not be disappointed in this. Very decently priced for the quality. Nice covering over the whole thing. Extremely easy to set up. Barely heavy, the box is just awkward to bring inside. 0 kreeking or shifting or noises. Perfect size(I got a queen). Seriously if you're contemplating on a different one to buy, trust me in saying this is very good for being a fold up unit.Extremely pleased with this purchase.

This product came in a box and could be carried up the stairs easily by 2 of us. The box was slim and not overly heavy. Installation was simple and the box spring unfolds effortlessly. This is exactly what we were looking for and was a good size in between lower profile and the standard size. Perfect!

Super easy to unpack and set up. Awesome sturdy box spring. When we bought my son a new bed we didn’t think it needed a box spring so just got a new mattress. Once the bed was set up we realized we did in fact need a box spring. Did some online research, this one was highly recommended & a good price. It’s perfect, just what we were looking for and set up was easy peasy!

I don’t usually Right reviews but being a single woman 59 2 knee replacement surgery and short 5’ 3 wasn’t sure I’d be able to get this up 8 stairs it is awkward but it actually was fairly easy I just lifted one end up slid the other end up to one step took a step up etc. etc. the box was harder to open lol then getting it up the stairs it was so easy to lift it up put it on the base part of the bed folded it down zipped it up it was done excellent excellent product if I ever need another one exactly when I die thank you very much
