Residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities typically are not permitted to use real candles with open flames. This little hanakkiah runs on three AA batteries, not included, or a short power cord, included. A simple on-off button lights the flameless candles, one by one across the eight evenings of the festival. The "flames" are LED lights, so no heat is given off. This allows people to celebrate the holiday without creating a fire hazard. It is a nice blue color and sits steadily without needing anything to keep it from falling over. This item made a big difference for a shut-in.

There's no substitute for a real menorah/hanukkiah with actual candles, but this thing is way better than nothing in places (like most workplaces, probably) where open flames aren't allowed. It looks pretty good and has easy one-button control for how many lights are lit. One click for the first night of Hanukkah, two clicks for the second, etc.

This worked perfectly and looked great during 2024 Hannukah. It is easy to use and is on the small side, which is what we needed.

Each light shines britely every night. I use a portable battery charger and it works beautifully.

Since some places ought not have an open flame, this battery-powered (3xAA) LED Hanukkiah allowed a moment of joy and a remembrance of the rededication of the temple that was completely fire-safe.
