I have all natural candles for my business and this was the perfect wick as they are smokeless!

*** these wicks are skinnier than a toothpick.. they’re that thin. They burn away in seconds. I was able to stick 2-3 of these in one of the metal holders I bought, and that only worked for 1/2 the candle. Do not recommend. Unless for a specific candle that needs to burn down quickly.

Despite being a 400-piece lot, you're actually getting enough for 100 candles. You've got to double up the wicks so you're using two per candle. I missed the memo that you are supposed to use olive oil on the wicks - so I used mine "raw" which may explain why it struggled to stay lit at first. The second time lighting it seemed to do the trick though and I let it burn for two hours before blowing it out. It creates a polite little crackle sound, enough to remind you of a campfire without driving the autistic members of your household to madness. This is my first time making a candle with a wooden wick. I wanted to use mica powder to color my wax and was told that was a problem when using cotton wicks. I think it turned out well. I did have two kids complain of a burning smell initially when the candle was first lit as the top portion of the wood burned above the wax of the candle, but they said it smelled fine once the wick burned down to start melting the wax so the candle smell came out. These wicks were easy to work with. Just slip two wooden wicks into the slot of the metal base, apply a sticker, and then stick it where you want it to be. I used a tool to keep the two wooden wicks together while pouring and curing the candles. Very beginner friendly!

Waaaaaay to thin. Need to combine at least 3-4 to get a burn. Even after oiling, they wouldn't stay lit long. Prepare to get slivers. They snap easily however, so you won't need a scissor to trim, so i guess that's a plus.LOL

Hay que usarlas dobles, pero en realidad son muy duraderas cuando encienden.
