This was a great price, and I would definitely buy again. I made just a small table-topper size (before committing to an entire huge rug) just to see how it would work out. I love it! This batting is thinner than other "typical" battings I've used, but it's great for this type of project. It's very smooth and doesn't seem to shed. I had no problems making my project.

This is not as thick as the bosal brand. I miss the fluffy quiltyness that the bosal provides. I do like the width being a little less. It's easier to fold for the jelly roll rugs. If you are making a jelly roll rug it works fine, if you are using it for a quilt, I would not recommend it. I will say my machine liked it better. I was getting skipped stitches with the bosal. I got perfect stitches with this one. I would have given it 3 stars, but I let my sewing machine give a star. For the price, I would buy it again for my rugs.

it's great to have the batting for jelly roll rugs cut square and properly sized for a 2 1/5 in jelly roll strip rug. I have made several, and yeah, I could cut the batting myself but this is so easy. I find it is a bit thinner than the batting I would buy and cut myself, but it does make the folding and stitching easier. good price.

I’ve been quilting for years and can easily tell the difference between polyester and cotton, this roll is definitely NOT cotton…that being said it seems to be just fine for making jelly roll rugs as I intended.
