I bought these for my '98 Ford ranger XLT and they needed a slight modification of drilling with a file (can maybe use a Dremel tool). These new ones are built to last but on my '98 ranger the slots were slightly a little bit tight (which will cause binding of the cable). I used a small file to open the slots just a little bit and they were fine afterwards. Still a great value for the money just take note that you may or may not have the same issue as the one had, can maybe save some installation time beforehand by checking the fit allows for operating slide comfortably.

These are way better quality than plastic pen prices. Super tough, need strong pliers, and some shaving need to be done to fit in a 2007 350z. Definitely would recommend just takes some elbow grease

These work fine. However they need considerable fitting to work. The cable binds without deepening the slot. Also the groove on the end needs deepening so it will fit on the bracket where the cable fits inside of the door.

Worked and definitely a big upgrade from the plastic/rubber ones. You’ll get enough bits for the two cargo reverse open doors for 2005+ Dakota. Saves me from having to replace with an OEM one for $160, just takes some know how. You may need to slight drill the opening a big bigger so the cable moves in and out freely. There should be no resistance when installed. If there is, then there is a photo I posted that shows how much bigger you’ll need it. Just the one side, not both ends.I would imagine this works for Hondas too since the latch cables are similar design. The bit in the photo is a round one. Then you’ll get two odd bits that have a weird shape, those go into the top latch for the Dakota. Top latch has the same shape as on the bits. Just it in and twist a quarter-ish turn to lock it in place.Hope this review helps

Only recieved 7 of the 8 pieces. All eight are required to do both doors. I fixed one door because I needed back access to my truck. However I still have the 2nd door thats non-functional.

A must have if you have a Ford truck that came with plastic fittings. They are easy to install and won't break like the OEM plastic fittings.
