Method of installing zipper replacement parts:
Please make sure your zipper size and type,get tools ready
Step 1: Take off the top stops on the top of the zipper tape,remove the unusable zipper slider
Step 2: Take correct type of new slider in the right direction and fix it on the zipper tape start from tape bottom, make sure teeth are matching of both side right and left
Step 3: Fix the bottom stops on the tape bottom , Please distinguish face and back,the square side should be the face side.
Best position, covering the bottom of a chain. The bottom of the plug bite teeth, durable, elegant appearance
Step 4:Fix the top stops on the tape up 1MM away from the teeth to ensure the appearance and firmness
Step 5:Please move the slider up and down to test the function after finish above 4 steps,polish zipper teeth with wax or spray to make zippers smoother and move easily

We put a metal 10’x12’ gazebo on our deck, and it came with zipped side screens and zippered side curtains on all 4 sides (great protection!).We’ve had some crazy windy weather this fall and winter, and one day we went out intending to zip up one of the sides, and both the zipper slider and the stop were gone.Since we weren’t about to trash the sides created for the gazebo because of this, I decided to look for a repair kit rather than replace an expensive zipper.We were able to successfully fix the side curtains with this kit. And then, because there are so many sizes, we also repaired a couple other unexpected zipper issues. We were so glad to have this kit.This repair kit is so much cheaper than any zipper replacement.

I used this to repair the zipper on a pair of dress pants. The kit has a good variety of different sizes of zippers that included a small size that was perfect to fix my issue. Also included little crimps to crimp onto the zipper part after the zipper pull was slid onto the two zipper parts.The quality of the zipper pulls feels maybe a little bit on the cheap side, but considering the price this was to be expected. Fixed my issue and was resonably easy to do so. The included pliers are a nice added value for the kit. It is a shame that they do not fit in the plasitc carrying case though.

So, of the many garments I have that needed new zipper pulls, about 7 or 8 or so, TWO of them were able to be repaired with this kit. Mostly nylon coil zippers, all "size 5", but wouldn't you know the size 5 nylon coil zipper pulls in this kit don't work on EVERY size 5 nylon coil zipper. And all of the broken zippers have weird letter codes, like 5CNn, or some other string of letters, to delineate that their zipper is special, and not just any zipper pull is going to do the trick.And if you think you can just look up that code and purchase a new pull, haha, no, it doesn't work like that. All of those weird codes are probably proprietary, and you can't just buy a new zipper pull for them. What you can do is buy an entirely new garment, now that your garment has a broken zipper. Gee, could that have been the strategy all along? Hmmmm.Zipper repair kits apparently exist to sell you false hope that you might be able to make use of your clothing a little longer. I guess I'm just going to have to figure something else out going forward, probably need to move away from garments with zippers altogether, frankly.Oh, and the two zippers I was able to fix? I had to install the zipper pull backward, so that the pull is facing the inside of the garment, to get the zipper to slide up and down and close. So yeah, awesome, huh? But hey, I got a pair of needle-nose pliers, so I have that going for me I guess.

Forget those plastic zippers with nuts and bolts to put them together. This set of METAL ZIPPERS is Excellent for repairs! Just remove the top stop, find the right size, and replace the stop with one provided. I saved 3 coats with this set of Zippers, and will have zippers for more if the need arises! Great Set!

This kit has a lot of parts in it, except for the bottom piece that is needed for a stopper at the bottom of a hoodie or jacket. I didn't realize it was missing that part, so this is more appropriate for bags and purses.

The zipper are not opened you nees to do it yourself which is hard to do and scrap them.
